Pricing Check

Pricing check is a specific application of the mystery shopping methodology: fieldcheckers blend into sales points (both indoor and outdoor) and, pretending to be real customers, record prices and characteristics of products/services in order to enable their analysis in comparison with competitors. Differently from the mystery shopping, no interaction with the vendors is implied, nor any qualitative evaluation of their work (reception, professionalism, etc.). This technique can be integrated with the collection of information about the conditions of the sales point, the display of goods, etc.
