Testpoint recently conducted a quantitative tasting test in four cities\u2014Milan, Bologna, Rome, and Naples\u2014with 100 people per city.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study was conducted on behalf of a major company planning to launch a new non-alcoholic beverage specifically designed for consumption at mealtimes. During the research, the new drink was evaluated in combination with two dishes: pasta with tomato sauce and fish cutlets.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How the test was conducted <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Testpoint recruited 100 people in each of the four cities who regularly or fairly frequently consume non-alcoholic beverages at mealtimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study was conducted in a central location, with 10 people at a time testing two dishes: pasta with basil sauce and air-fried breaded fish fillets, paired with a prototype of the new beverage being tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food was freshly prepared using standardized procedures: everyone ate the same type of pasta, strictly following the cooking times indicated on the package, and always topped with the same ready-to-use basil sauce.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooking methods and times for the breaded fish fillets were also standardized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each respondent was offered a taste of the pasta paired with the beverage and immediately afterward asked to answer a few questions from an online questionnaire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately afterward, they tasted the second pasta, again paired with the beverage, and completed the questionnaire for the second part of the test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il lavoro \u00e8 stato svolto per conto di un\u2019importante azienda che intende lanciare sul mercato una nuova bevanda analcolica, pensata specificamente per il consumo ai pasti. Nel corso della ricerca, la nuova bibita \u00e8 stata valutata in abbinamento a due tipi di piatti, una pasta al sugo e le cotolette di pesce.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come si \u00e8 svolto il test <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Testpoint ha reperito in ognuna delle quattro citt\u00e0 100 persone<\/strong> che consumano abitualmente o abbastanza spesso bevande analcoliche durante i pasti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il lavoro si \u00e8 svolto in central location<\/strong> con sessioni di 10 persone alla volta<\/strong> che dovevano assaggiare due tipi di cibi, della pasta condita con sugo al basilico e filetti di pesce panato cotti in friggitrice ad aria, in abbinamento con il prototipo della nuova bevanda oggetto del test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cibi venivano preparati al momento con procedure standardizzate: per tutti, lo stesso tipo di pasta per la quale venivano rigorosamente rispettati i tempi di cottura indicati sulla confezione, sempre condita con lo stesso tipo di sugo pronto al basilico.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anche per i filetti di pesce panato, la cottura era standardizzata nelle modalit\u00e0 e nei tempi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A ciascun rispondente veniva proposto l\u2019assaggio di pasta in abbinamento con la bevanda e subito dopo gli veniva chiesto di rispondere ad alcune domande di un questionario online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subito dopo, si passava al secondo assaggio, sempre in abbinamento con la bevanda, e alla compilazione del questionario per la seconda parte del test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
