Recently, Testpoint selected 10 people for a truly unusual market research: it involved comparing two innovative materials, designed to make cooktops. In particular, the manufacturer was interested in testing how much easy it is to clean them. To answer this question, Testpoint invited 10 people at its offices in Rome who, armed with sponges and detergents, cleaned the cooktops to evaluate how much easy it is to wash and sanitize them. <\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooktops compared <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you had to list the characteristics on the basis of which to choose a new cooktop for your kitchen, what would you indicate as essential? You would certainly want it to be elegant and refined, but also practical and resistant to hits, scratches and stains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, we are sure, the first thing you would ask for is that it is made of a hygienic and easy to clean material. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Precisely for this reason, an important manufacturer of innovative materials that are finding more and more space in cooktops for non-professional kitchens, wanted to test the ease of cleaning of two different prototypes through 10 qualitative interviews which took place in Rome at Testpoint offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How the test was conducted <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

10 respondents - women and menwho use the kitchen and clean it after use \u2013 were recruited and they were asked to clean two cooktop prototypes, previously soiled with what more frequently could stain acooktop: oil, tomato sauce, lemon, coffee, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respondents were provided with the normal equipment used for cleaning the kitchen: sponges, detergents, degreasers, and they were asked to proceed as they usually do. At the end of the operations, they had to answer a few questions about how easily they had cleaned the cooktop, whether it was easy to remove stains, whether there were rings or scratches left, and how satisfied they were overall with the result.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interview was of a qualitative one, i.e. the interviewer, following a discussion guide, let respondents express their feelings in an absolutely free way, commenting in their own words on the experience they had just lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recentemente, Testpoint ha selezionato 10 persone per una ricerca di mercato veramente insolita: si trattava di mettere a confronto due materiali innovativi, studiati per  realizzare dei piani di lavoro per la cucina. In particolare, l\u2019azienda produttrice era interessata a farne testare la facilit\u00e0 di pulizia. Ed ecco che Testpoint ha convocato nella sua location di Roma 10 persone che, armate di spugnette e detersivi, hanno pulito i top per valutarne la facilit\u00e0 di lavaggio ed igienizzazione. <\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top cucina a confronto <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Se doveste elencare le caratteristiche in base alle quali scegliere il nuovo top per la vostra cucina, cosa indichereste come irrinunciabile? Certamente lo vorreste elegante e raffinato, ma anche pratico e resistente agli urti, ai graffi e alle macchie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma, ne siamo certi, la prima cosa che chiedereste \u00e8 che sia di un materiale igienico e facile da pulire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proprio per questo, un'importante azienda produttrice di materiali innovativi che stanno trovando sempre pi\u00f9 spazio nei top per le cucine non professionali,  ha voluto testare la facilit\u00e0 di pulizia di due diversi prototipi attraverso 10 interviste qualitative che si sono svolte a Roma nella location di Testpoint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come si \u00e8 svolto il test <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sono state reperite 10 persone, donne e uomini, che utilizzano la cucina e si occupano di pulirla dopo l\u2019uso, ed \u00e8 stato chiesto loro di pulire due prototipi di top per cucina, precedentemente sporcati con ci\u00f2 che pi\u00f9 frequentemente pu\u00f2 andare a macchiare il piano di lavoro: grasso, sugo di pomodoro, limone, caff\u00e8 ecc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ai rispondenti sono state fornite le normali attrezzature che si utilizzano per la pulizia della cucina: spugnette, detersivi, sgrassatori, ed \u00e8 stato chiesto loro di procedere come fanno abitualmente. Al termine delle operazioni, dovevano rispondere ad alcune domande su quanto facilmente avevano svolto la pulizia del piano di lavoro, se era stato facile eliminare le macchie, se erano rimasti aloni o graffi, e quanto complessivamente erano soddisfatti del risultato ottenuto.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019intervista era di tipo qualitativo<\/strong>, cio\u00e8 l\u2019intervistatore, seguendo una traccia di conversazione, lasciava che l\u2019intervistato esprimesse in modo assolutamente libero le proprie sensazioni, commentando con parole proprie l\u2019esperienza appena vissuta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
